Four Morpeth Harriers were in action at the BMC Trafford Grand Prix meeting,
held at Stretford on Saturday 10th August 2019. In the Men’s 800m events, Alistair Douglass took a whole second off his previous best, when he finished second in the twelfth fastest race of the night, posting new figures of 1m54.52s, only losing out for victory to Charnwood’s Daniel Maud, who is an Under 20 Man, by a mere fraction. Three Morpeth Harriers took part in the 1500m events. Club newcomer Chris Parr finished eighth in the fastest race, posting a time of 3m46.87s. George Lowry set new figures of 3m59.79s, when finishing fifth in the sixth fastest race. In the seventh fastest 1500m event, Adam Pratt may feel slightly disappointed with his clocking of 4m10.38s, which saw him finish ninth. Comments are closed.
