We are one of the leading athletic clubs in the North of England. Founded in 1946, our roots are in cross country and road running, and we have won many titles and medals — both team and individual — at Northern and National Championships.
We now have a synthetic track at KEVI School, Morpeth, enabling us to provide training facilities, coaching and competitive opportunities for track and field athletes too. Although we have major games medallists and many county representatives within our ranks, we don't just cater for the elite.
Team and individual titles across cross country and road, won at Northern and National Championships throughout the club's history.
From major games medallists to county vests, the club has produced and developed athletes at every level of the sport.
A genuine club for everyone — Harrier League fixtures, road races, and grass roots track meetings alongside high performance training.
Morpeth Harriers Club President Jim Alder claims gold — one of the most famous moments in the club's illustrious history.
Whether you're chasing a county vest, a sub-three marathon, or just looking for the right pair of legs to train alongside on a Tuesday evening — there's a place for you at Morpeth Harriers.
