It is with deep sadness that this brief post is to inform everyone that Bill McGuirk has passed away today, Friday 9th October.
Bill was the President of North East Counties Athletics Association and was well known to everyone in athletics, not just in the North East but throughout the country.
Our thoughts are with Bill's family and friends at this very difficult time
Rest in peace, Bill, you will never be forgotten for your contributions to Athletics in the North East.
