Four Morpeth Harriers were in action at the recent BMC Regional Meeting, held at Leeds Beckett University on Monday 20th July.
In the 800m B Race, Ellis Hetherington finished fifth, posting a time of 1m53.08s, just outside his personal best.
Alistair Douglass also lined up in the same race, finishing eighth in 1m55.23s.
Two of the club’s athletes lined up in the A race of the 3000m.
Matthew Walton finished sixth, producing an excellent new personal best time of 8m34.80s, taking almost twenty-three seconds off his previous figures for the seven and a half lap distance.
In the same race, club colleague Joe Dixon finished twelfth in 8m57.82s.
