The other Gold Medal came in the Senior Women’s Triple Jump, where Charlotte Earl produced a season’s best of 10.61m, which was enough to take the championship title from North Shields Poly’s Lily Bradley by a mere 21cm.
Morpeth’s Mason Gaylor won a Silver medal in the Under 16 Boys 800m, posting a season’s best of 2m05.90s, just losing out for gold by a mere one and a half seconds to North Shield’s Poly’s Max Cary, with Darlington’s Ollie Curran finishing in third place.

Veteran Man Ben Harding competed in the Senior Men’s 200m and 400m events.
In his 200m Heat, Ben produced a personal best time of 25.68s, which unfortunately did not take him on to a later final, however, he just missed out on a medal in the 400m, finishing fourth in 56.74s.
Charlie Townsend, who had medalled in the 300m, unfortunately didn’t make the Final of the Under 16 Boys 100m, when he finished fifth in his heat, in a time of 12.34s.
