Morpeth’s Liam Bartle ran at the Run Nation Hexham 10k and finishing in 32:31 for 2nd place overall.
He also broke the old course record along with Winner Andrew Merry (Hercules Wimbledon Club).
The course starts on the outskirts of Hexham and follows roads towards Corbridge before returning via Corchester Lane.
The route starts and finishes around Tyne Green.
