Morpeth Harriers Under 13 Boys and Girls Road Championships

A total of forty two runners took part in the fourth
and final set of races in the Morpeth Harriers
Young Athletes Road Championships,
sponsored by the clubs official backer Linden Homes,
on Lancaster Park, on the evening of Monday 19th October 2015.

30 took part in the Under 13 Boys event,
with twelve contesting the Under 13 Girls race,
both run over the 1.3mile circuit.

Thomas Cunningham was first home in the Boys race,
posting a finishing time of 7m58s.
A very close race between second, third, and fourth
saw Bobby Stone (8m15s) just outpace
Ben Walker (8m16s) and Andrew Hudspith (8m16s).

Cunningham, Stone, and Walker will all receive respective
Gold, Silver and Bronze awards at the clubs
official Presentation Night at the end of November.

Holly Peck won the Girls race, posting a time of 8m19s,
and second and third places went to Lily Heaton (8m38s),
and Rhiannon Hedley (8m52s).

Peck, Heaton, and Hedley, will also receive respective
Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards at the aforementioned Presentation Night.
