nehl round two: guide to druridge bay fixture

​Round two of the NEHL takes place at Druridge Bay this Sunday (not the traditional Saturday on which other NEHL fixtures take place).
After a bit of a disappointing turn-out at Wrekenton, we’re hoping for bigger numbers at Druridge, and certainly full teams in all age categories.
Timings are as other fixtures, with the first race off at midday.
Please note however:

• Parking gets tight at Druridge, so please factor in extra time to get parked up.
• There will be a charge for parking (probably £2-£3); PLEASE BRING THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF CASH TO ASSIST ORGANISERS. The money goes to support the work of NCC at Druridge Bay, something we’d all like to applaud.
• Dogs are normally OK – but on leads please.
• The course is suitable for trail shoes or spikes, but road shoes would suffice if necessary. It’s a grassy course, probably the shortest in the season, with no really steep hill sections.
• Refreshments available either at Visitors’ Centre or from mobile catering.
• Good toilet facilities from portaloos or at Visitors’ Centre.
• If you ran last time, please bring number. (Replacements available, at a cost of £5.)
• Club tent will be there from 10.30 am.
