![]() The regions Park Runs on Saturday 24th October 2015 produced three first places for athletes from Morpeth Harriers. In Newcastle’s Exhibition Park, Sam Hancox was first to finish in a new personal best time of 16.01s for the 5k circuit, which proved to be thirty three seconds faster that Gateshead Harrier Conrad Franks. A further eight seconds behind in third place was Sunderland Harrier Sparrow Morley. Another Hancox in fine form was Sam’s father Rob, who was eleventh finisher in Newcastle in 17m56s. Adam Shewry was another prominent finisher in Newcastle, finishing 17th in 18m40s. ![]() James Young of Morpeth Harriers clocked 17m06s at Whitley Bay. He crossed the finish at the same time as Blyth Running Club’s Jake Masterman, however was given the judges verdict for first place. ![]() Robert Balmbra was the third Morpeth Harrier first finisher at Druridge Bay. He clocked a finishing time of 17m42s. Brothers Thomas and Alex Cunningham of Morpeth Harriers, were also prominent finishers in fifth and eleventh places respectively, with clockings of 19m00s, and 19m47s. Thomas’s clocking was his fastest on the 5k circuit. Kevin Bray of Morpeth Harriers was also a prominent finisher at Druridge. He was 14th in 20m47s. ![]() Away from the region in London’s Queen Elizabeth Park, Morpeth Harriers had another first finisher in Andrew Lawrence, who crossed the finish line in 17m28s.
