The Run Northumberland Stamfordham 10k Road Race,
held on Wednesday 19th August 2015, set round the picturesque rural village attracted a total finishing field of 178 enthusiastic runners, including six from the ranks of Morpeth Harriers. Finishing in 21st position in a time of 40m07s, Paul Banks was the first home in a Blue and White vest, and he was also second in the Over 40 Veteran Men’s category. Second home from the club was Mark Crosby, who finished 38th in 42m50s, and was third Over 50 Veteran Man. Paul Willis was third home for Morpeth, finishing 47th in 43m32s. Richard Sill ran well to finish 58th in 44m57s, and was second in the Over 60 Veteran Men’s section. Sue Smith and Jane Blackett completed the Morpeth Harriers tally, when finishing 145th and 147th in respective times of 60m56s, and 60m57s. Smith was ninth in the Over 45 Veteran Ladies section and Blackett was third in the Over 50 Veteran Ladies section. Comments are closed.
