I am so sad to learn of this news. I haven't been affiliated with Morpeth Harriers for a long time but it was a huge part of my teenage years. Tony was my first and only coach and it was a true pleasure to train with him and his great group of athletes. He was so dedicated, committed and passionate about his sport and he will be greatly missed. Some memories of Tony include group meet ups in his back garden, orange juice served by Katie after a hard session at the track, fartlek sessions all over Morpeth, long Sunday runs and much more. My sympathies to his family. I have so much to thank Tony for regarding my athletic career.....I wouldn't know where to start. A good man who leaves us all with great memories. 14/4/2017 03:22:17 pm
