On Monday evening (1st October) the club paid tribute to one of its young members, Lewis Eke,
who unselfishly during his club training session the previous week, had taken the trouble to help a disabled lady in her wheelchair up the steep climb of Springhill Walk in Kirkhill, in Morpeth. This single act brought great tribute to him from the lady in the Morpeth Matters Facebook page. It also prompted several people, including club members to place posts and likes for this single kind act, which very clearly shows Lewis to be a model citizen in the public eye. We can all feel very proud of this young man, and even more so pleased to know him, and to share the knowledge of his kind act of nature, and the club very rightly applaud him, and are pleased to have him as a member, WELL DONE INDEED LEWIS.
